The crew has pushed well into the midwest and have found themselves under an increasing amount of pressure as the true scale of the plague becomes clear. The dead have permeated every square inch of the country leaving the few remaining survivors scratching and clawing for commodities that were once commonplace. Roving bands of raiders as well as small, independent communities pose serious threats to one another amongst the ever increasing numbers of "bernies".The group has suffered difficult losses on the road with very few victories to speak of. Add to that the catatonic state of Kylee and it's a recipe for disaster.On the military side of things, Col. Lang and Chalmers continue to pursue their goals and Morofsky is making progress of a different sort. It is becoming obvious that the Colonel may well be a worse threat than the dead.As Dext and his band of survivors push further and further, they meet a slew of new people and not all of them are what they seem. Whether they make it to the coast, and ultimately their salvation, or continue to perish as victims of the new world remains to be seen. They just keep running.
