They've found the trail; it leads to the sea, Across the high land to a perilous lea High above hedges on stony ledges On to the Moonstone At last to be free The Head girl thinks it's silly to climb That needle mountain; the way is sublime, But the battle is stiff there on the cliff, Will they get there with the Moonstone in time?
