Consequently, the sole option becomes a hypersonic missile strike air burst over Taipei to force Taiwan to capitulate. But the Diamond Dome holds. It becomes a seminal event for China to realize it can't capture Taiwan. With additional trade pressure from America, China is forced to negotiate a century-long non-aggression treaty. As a result, America foregoes building is own Golden Dome. And the treaty initiates a new era of global peace and economic prosperity.
