I spend my springs (and sometimes summers and falls) at the baseball field. At this point, it's been about 17 years and lately, it's been about 100 games a year. That's a lot of baseball. Along the way, as a coach, father, and youth league leader, I learned a lot about children, including mine, and life from opportunities on the baseball diamond. Most of those learnings transcend baseball, and I have now collected those learnings and stories in my new book, Diamond Days.
