Diagnosis And Proposal For Environmental Impact Control

This work aimed to perform a diagnosis of environmental impacts on a rural property in the municipality of Pombal-PB, as well as to propose environmental control measures. For the execution of this study, it was made use of field visits, bibliographical research, photodocumentation and satellite images. A description of anthropic activities in the study area was made taking into account the last 10 years, and a simplified environmental diagnosis was performed. For the identification of environmental impacts, the Ad Hoc, Check-List and Interaction Matrices methods were used. The environmental control measures were proposed based on research in technical and scientific literature. According to the results, a total of 26 environmental impacts were identified, being 20 significant and 06 non-significant. The impacts were found mainly in the abiotic and anthropic environments. Among the main measures proposed for the environmental control of significant impacts are: avoid burning, reduce or cease the use of pesticides and avoid deforestation.
