Every Buddhist Must Read and Follow

I think 5 stars doesn't even come close to how much I treasure this book. I really hope that my review will aspire anyone who reads to pick up this book and read it. This book contains ALL the mistakes a Buddhist practioner often makes and how one can correct oneself by following the instructions that are in the book. Often when one practises the Dharma, one might not know if one is making a mistake. That is why this book is a truly indispensable guide because we can guide ourselves in praticing the Dharma step-by-step by checking our practise with this book as to whether or not it conforms to the rules and procedures in this book. I am only a beginner but having read this book a few times, I believe that I have already gained tremendously from it. I wish to say a lot more but I think the book will be a much better guide in conveying what I wish to say. Don't wait! Buy the book now! :)

The modern classic of Tibetan Buddhism

This book lays out the path to enlightenment by pinpointing the many mistakes practitioners of Buddhism can and do make in their actions or non-actions of "body, speech and mind". Although required reading for practitioners of the Tibetan Buddhist path layed out and led by the world reknown Dharma King Master Yi-Yungao, this book nevertheless should be of interest to all practitioners of Buddhism. In an always refreshing and positive way, Pamu illustrates pitfall after pitfall we Buddhists are entrapped in. How can we reach enlightenment? By following a competent master. Just who qualifies to be such a master is described in detail in this book. After reading this book I found out that my way of practice had many flaws. Due to this book I was able to critically examine my way of practice and to correct many mistakes. Nobody who cannot pass the benchmarks this book sets forth should be allowed to be referred to as a master.

Best Book on Buddhist Ethics

That Pamu is the true incarnation of Vajravarahi is exemplified by this timely and wise book about Buddhist ethics. Although required reading for all Buddhists, this book emphasises Tantric or Tibetan Buddhism. As every real practitioner of Tantric Buddhism knows, the Dakinis are constantly watching serious practitioners on the path to enlightenment. Pamu, as the queen of Dakinis, is the foremost authority on right conduct and wisdom. It is indeed a rare feast to be able to read the words of an incarnate 12th stage Bodhisattva. I have read many books on Buddhism over the last decades but have not found a book that could be comparable to Dharma that Every Buddhist Must Follow. This book is a collection of discourses Pamu gave to an assembledge of Buddhist masters of highest rank over a period of a few days. Unlike traditional Tibetan accounts, this book uses contemporary examples even we Westerners can relate to. Rather than a scholarly work, this book is a wake-up call to practitioners of Buddhism. It does not offer simple solutions, nor does it go into New-Age "I-feel-good, you-feel-good" stuff. Certainly shocking to those uneducated in Tantric Buddhist phenomenology, its compassionate directness makes this book a treasure trove of wise Buddhist "know-how" information. I have read this book three times already. The second edition has recently been published by World Dharma Voice which corrects several minor mistakes.

Dharma That Every Buddhist Must Follow

It was both suprised and very auspicous to read "Dharma That Every Buddhisht Must Follow" for many readers that I know. Every discourse is truly speak to the problems and mistakes that we have and easliy make as a buddhist. A reader solved a long time Zen Koan problem after reading one discourse in the book. The book provides solution directly to heart of this koan. Marvelous book you must have and practice.
