Devotions For Loss Of Loved Ones

Widows, widowers, friends and family need a word of encouragement today to get up and out of their grave clothes because if not we stay in darkness and heaviness as our sorrow overcomes us. It's hard to live life.

We all go through losses which are life changing in all the years we stay upon the earth; some bad and some very bad or heartbreaking as the love of our life dies or the young child of our marriage or our mothers and fathers; they all leave a hole where they used to be with us. It is the job of Jesus to heal and sew that hole up with a Holy Spirit needle and thread until the wound is closed with divine health. It is not good for one's soul to mourn too long although it is possible to live there.

Let us come out of the grave of mourning today and lift up our eyes to the hills where our help comes from, it comes from
the LORD
