This book depicts a `clear and present danger' situation in Africa. The writer may be trying in a most subtle way to warn Nigeria. After all, Nigeria, a pure secular state constantly burning from religious volatility has secretly become a member of Organization of Islamic Conference. As a Nigerian living in U.K, this reality tale masked in fiction scares the hell out of me. In Nigeria it may have already put some wrong ideas into some peoples' head.
Remarkable work

This book guarantees you moments of laughter and moments of subdued melancholic silence. There's never been a time a writer presents daily occurrences in the world's most populous black nation -Nigeria-- in such a subtle way. An appalling story, full of suspense and brutal deceits and executions. This author has a remarkable sense of humor
A deadly religious bigot
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 20 years ago
Coup de tat is nothing new in African countries. In fact, it's become one of the tenets of African military institutions, especially in Nigeria. But what makes this attempted coup so dangerous is that the architect is a civilian----a deadly religious bigot. Oil and religion may finally be the bane of the world. This story may be truer than reality.
Religion and our world

The author of this book is sounding like another biblical prophet of doom when one visualizes the trends of events in the world. It's becoming clear that religion may be the machinery to destroy our world and crude oil is oiling the cogs of this monstrous machinery. This book is set in Africa, Nigeria in particular, but it's international outlook. Great work.
