Ever since the previous hauntings ended, a ghost known only as Galiena has made her presence known to John on an increasingly frequent basis. As a former spirit guide to John's grandfather, Two Eagles Cry, Galiena has kept watch over the bones belonging to four siblings of Teutates that are buried in another ravine near Cherokee, North Carolina for the past millennium.

The ravine lies in the shadow of a majestic mountain disdained by the Cherokee because of the presence of these once-violent entities-a place known as Tsvsgina Odalv, or "Devil Mountain".
Recent construction of luxury cabins surrounding the ravine has awakened the slumbering entities, and all four ancient deities are on the verge of escaping their imprisonment.

So, what happens when John is too late to prevent the escape of one of the worst of these ancient deities, known as Brigindo?

This ruthless goddess quickly turns the new luxury subdivision into her personal hunting ground. Even with the help of Evelyn, along with David and Miriam Hobbs, there are no guaranties that what happened years earlier in Cades Cove won't be even worse when facing the wrath of Teutates' sister.

The death toll climbs quickly. John and his companions are soon forced to put their own lives at grave risk in order to try and find a cure for the tainted land and somehow prevent the wanton bloodshed from spreading beyond the realm of Devil Mountain.

**IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the FINAL streamlined version of "Devil Mountain", and the extensive changes in this version were based upon reader feedback I've received over the years, along with an effort to bring this story stylistically in line with the Cades Cove Series prequel, "Scarlet Hemlock" .

At present, "Devil Mountain" is available in paperback along with the Kindle ebook, and there is not a new hardcover or audio version at this time. Once a new audiobook version is completed and available (along with a possible new hard cover version), I will provide that update here.
