Development of Visual Test Strips for Glucose Level Estimation

Strict glycemic control is recommended to avoid the micro vascular and macro vascular complications. As glucometers are very costly, so, in order to provide individuals less costly and more reliable method glucose strips are commonly recommended. In this research work an economic way of making glucose strips is described. During this research Low cost, more reliable and self developed glucose strips were successfully made which can be compared with any standard glucose strips based on glucose oxidase and peroxidase method.
