The synthesized foam suppressant was tested using physical, chemical and colloid-chemical (IR spectroscopy, refractometry, extraction, and stalogmometric) methods. At the same time, in accordance with the DLFO (Deryagina, Landau, Ferveya, Overbeka) theory, the functional effect of the hydroxyl group of the foam suppressant, that is, the mechanism of its action on the foam film by adsorption and film rupture, is scientifically proven.
