The monograph outlines the role of presowing treatment of cotton seeds, including seed treatment, analyzes the methods of seed treatment and technical means for its implementation, as a result of a theoretical study, analytical dependences were obtained to calculate the distance of the protrusion of the drum tooth from the grate of the seed dispenser, the main parameters were substantiated developed treater of pubescent cotton seeds. Graphical dependences of the change in the speed of the seed in the tray on the change in the angle of inclination and on the value of the displacement of the seed and the patterns of change in the range of fluctuations of the treater tray on the change in the angle of the lever with the load by the recommended values of the angle of its location relative to the tray with seeds are plotted. Experimental studies have shown that the developed hydraulic pressure stabilizer provides a more uniform supply of the working suspension, regardless of the amount of suspension in the supply tank. The results of production tests of the recommended treater showed that, in all respects, the treated seeds meet the requirements of the existing standards.
