Pay attention to the publication date

I recently bought this book for my wife who is taking German lessons. Even though the overall information on this book indicates that this is the January 2000 edition, not all of the books sold under this title are the 2000 edition. The 2000 edition covers the new revised spelling of certain words in the German language. I ended up with the 1967 version. Fortunately the German teacher is flexible and is willing to use the older edition, but before buying I would suggest you contact the seller to make sure you are getting the 2000 edition - if you want the latest spellings.
