Determination of the level of pollution from roads

This work anchored in the field of the environment, has for objective to study on the one hand the polluting emissions, outside and in the closed space, resulting from the road transport at the level of the city of Khemis Miliana, on the other hand to confirm the intoxication with lead of the donors living near this zone. Our study focused on the para-medical school which started from 21/03/2019 to 26/05/2019, in order to determine first the rate of dry and wet fallout outside and the rate of deposition of pollutants in an enclosed space and their contents in metal traces. The results obtained show the high level of pollution of road origin with a total deposition of 0.95 mg/m at the maximum recorded outside with a dominance of lead. Lead intoxication was detected in the blood of 10 out of 15 individuals, with 119 g/l recorded as the maximum, where age, smoking and direct exposure are the factors favoring this type of disease.
