Tiffany and her older sister Taneesha live in the Chauncey Drive housing projects in the Hill District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Due to their mothers' heroin addiction and abstentee father, life for them is rough. When their mother dies they are forced to live with their crackhead aunt and abusive boyfriends. The only other people they can depend on are their friends the twins, and Meeka. That's until Taneesha meets Governor, a big time drug dealer. Soon after tragedy strikes. It is then Tiffany is forced to grow up quick and become the Lady she is destined to be. In the Westgate Housing projects on the other side of town Quincy grows up in a similar household. His mother a addict and his father the one who turned her out. He and his best friend Lil G are small time hustlers until Quincy becomes the Governors prot g . With money comes problems and Lil G and Quincy's friendship is put to the test.
