This book is about a German family starting in 1805 and ending in 1945. It is written from a German point of view. I am a historian who really enjoyed learning European and Military history. So, I thought it would be interesting to write a story about a family and to witness history through their eyes. Also, this story is more than just this family there is a mysterious personality that they meet and intertwine with. This new character is raised by this family and takes on a leadership role within this family. This story is more than good and evil, it involves the reasons why we go to war and the moral decisions that we have to live with.
