Handy New York Reference to Design Community

DESIGNnewyork 2004 I love this book even though it is a few years old it is such a useful resource for navigating the fashion and design worlds in New York City. It is arranged by categories from A to Z, has very detailed maps which cover all of the neighborhoods in the City. As a NY native I find it very illuminating. While some of the businesses have moved or disappeared since the crash of '08 MOST are still where they say they are. Intuitively arranged and easy to use, I find it helps me to plan my "artists dates"in the city. Design New York lists where and whenall the various exhibitions, cathedrals and shows, classes, wholesalers, retailer, fabric houses, design houses in every field; art galleries, museums and so many other numerous to mention here.
