This is one of the best books on Designing Structured Programs. It gives insights to proper design and structure of programs, bringing into focus the correct way to write programs. Any programmer on any platform will benefit from this simple, yet effective, approach to programming. As Ken Orr states in the Foreword "Too many individuals today tend to confuse the act of coding a program with the concept of program design. The two are not the same." This has proven true in my 20+ years as a programmer that "just because you know how to code, doesn't mean you can write a program".The unfortunate part about the book is that it is no longer in print. However, it is well worth the search to find a copy for any programmer's library.Definitely a must have for any programmer!
