Ozzy has never been shy about who he is. He cracks jokes and makes fun and throws shade and has no intention of stopping. It's never serious...except with Evander. They were on-again, off-again, at each others throats again for years before the big blowup, and there's no love lost on either end of the equation. Which makes hosting a home renovation show with him maybe the stupidest think Ozzy has ever done.

Evander is honest to a fault and he knows it. He's not about to change the way he behaves because other people don't like the truth. How others react can't be what he worries about, even when it's his boyfriend's reaction. Ozzy couldn't handle him, and locked up together, working on a house in some unfamiliar city, they keep clashing into each other. Evander can't help but poke the bear, and Ozzy always takes the bait. In more ways than Evander might like to admit, it's like falling into a comfortable pattern again. The problem is, their comfortable pattern isn't healthy or stable.

The client wants to blend the indoor and outdoor spaces. A usable yard and plenty of light and houseplants inside. So more than usual, Ozzy and Evander are going to need to find a way to settle their differences. As long as the cracks in their foundation aren't too deep, they might even pull it off.
