This is a good, moderately humorus book about making and building your own furniture. It starts with a very basic box that you build with plywood and cover with laminate, and moves on, using that simple concept, to beds, tables, kitchen cabinets, and so on. It is an older book, so sourcing the materials he used has been a little interesting, but some of the companies are still in business. The furniture looks a lot like Ikea furniture, which I love, but sturdier and, of course, you build it yourself. It's simple, doable, practical, and the furniture was REALLY nice.
