This witty and insightful collection of personal stories will delight and inspire. Burnt toast happens! Sometimes it's the small things that cause stress or embarrasment, sometimes it's really the big... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Made me think how important seemly insignificant acts in life can be. One doesn't have to move mountains to make a difference in another's existence. Showed how many situations, if look at from a certain angle, can produce laughter instead of unhappiness.
We are not alone

Kinza has opened her heart and life to share her experiences with the reader. Though the details of each person's life are different, I loved the book because it proves that all of us have to deal with the ups and downs, highs and lows, successes and pratfalls, and just pure whimsy of life as we go along. Too often we hear only the good, but Kinza provides a balance that is much closer to what life really is ... and as she goes along, she shows us how to deal positively with the inevitable rough spots and keep on going. I should add that my wife and mother also read and enjoyed the book. I recommend this book to anyone who needs a sobering dose of reality served up in a warm, and often hilarious, way.

My Mom always said you can laugh or you can cry and Donna makes a great case for the former. Just read a chapter a day to stay on track. A fun and inspirational book. Diane Gaido

Everyone can identify with the laughter and tears of daily living. This little gem provides insights that go beyond the ordinary. Each short chapter ends with something to contemplate before moving to the next. It could be a quick read, but is best savored.

This book is really inspiring without being preachy. It is a collection of wonderful, real-life stories; each with a positive message of finding joy in your blessings. Many times I laughed out loud, and a few times it definitely brought a tear to my eye as well. Kinza tries to show us how to find value in every experience of our lives - be they good or bad - and to use those experiences to live your life with joy. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to live a happier, richer, life!
