Deserts

Kids who are wild about deserts will be wild about these projects. There are practical items such as an oasis stamp licker, a green toad paper weight, and a coyote paper holder. The lappet-faced vulture, the elf owl, and the bactrian camel make great puppets. Many of the projects would be great for enhancing a science project presentation -- the expanding cactus puppet, or the squirting spotted skunk, for example.
