Desert Sojourner is a book about a man who is disillusioned with the state of the world and his life so he decides he needs to get away from it all for a while. Since he lives in the Sonoran Desert he decides to take his burro and dog and go out into the desert itself to spend some time alone wandering and exploring. He initially is looking for treasures like gold or other gems. His appreciation for the desert grows as he learns to live in it. His quiet contemplation leads to a whole different type of discovery about himself and his life's journey which will bring major changes to his life forever.
