3.75 stars if possible and that is good from me, why because i thought it was well written for a 1988 book from connie mason... It was a book that kept you turning the pages as silly has some people found it you couldn't put it down, By page 200 you felt like whats left to read because they met got sperated and now they are back together again but it got more interesting as you go along.. I found this book to be good and through out the years she has improve on most of her work... ......................ENJOY THE BOOK.......................

Just finished reading this book for the 3rd time. It is filled with action and romance, quick paced and really makes you believe in Kismet when you are finished with it. It has everything as with all her books you feel like you are living the part.
The very first romance I ever read.

During one long summer, I was trying to find a book to keep my mind busy while I listened for the phones at a local business. I loathed romance novels, and only this book was available to me. Let me tell you... Well, no, I won't. You'll have to read it for yourself. "Desert Ecstacy" is a wonderful, fast paced read. It is what I like to call a "Desert Sheik-y Romance". The novel is full of love and lust and adventure and betrayal. It begins with the hero and heroine meeting and loving to hate each other. Later they meet and sparks fly. I have never been moved by ship board romances until then. The novel moves from England through a sea voyage then on to the deserts of the Sahara. Here is where we are introduced to our hero's split life and angry sibling. The bad guys are loathsome and the good guys are just dark enough to make them interesting. All in all I believe this is a book worth your time. Try it, you too will get hooked on Desert Sheiks.
