Sarah is the Demon Keeper of Descend, a cosmic system designed to ReTrain wayward souls who fail to Ascend after death. But the construct of Heaven and Hell doesn't exist. Instead, humans are placed on a moral continuum: those who grow and evolve advance to higher consciousness among the stars. Those who don't? They return. Again and again.

As political tensions flare and ancient enemies rise, Sarah must decide whether humanity is worth saving at all-because they don't seem too interested in changing, and to survive, they must change. In order to restore balance, she'll have to break the very laws she was created to uphold-defying the Council, the Atheciery, and the systems of life, death, and rebirth themselves.
