Derevolution

The author's nineteenth volume of poetry, Derevolution, features an organization with a higher-level theme, Derevolving, interspersed with the subsections "An Interlude of Utopia", "Attributable to Marx and Lenin", "Terrestrial Multifarity", "Technological Simulacra", and "Shorts". Poems in each of these subsections reflect the theme of that subsection. Overall, the book deals with the author's views, feelings, and analysis as he completes a long stay working in Beijing in communist China. Two of the subsections revisit and develop themes the author has explored in previous volumes.
