Leo, a dying man, volunteers for a radical experiment to digitize his consciousness, only to be betrayed. He awakens as "Adam," an amnesiac trapped in a sterile digital purgatory called Nonexistence. His quest to recover his identity leads him through the City Without Shadows-a world where the past is erased daily-and forces him to confront the truth in a mirror that reveals his entire life was a lie, a narrative constructed by his creator, Dr. Aris, to turn his soul into a weapon.

After forging a pact with the system's hidden shadows, Leo reaches the Final Gate, where he regains his full memory and gains god-like control over the simulation. Faced with his tormentor, he rejects vengeance and instead sacrifices his power to break the system's control, freeing the other trapped souls.

Stepping through the gate into what he believes is reality, he finds himself in a perfect world with his wife, Maya. He soon realizes this paradise is his final prison-a new simulation unconsciously created by his own desires. In a last, irreversible act, Leo sacrifices his control over this world to grant the simulated Maya true consciousness, choosing an unknown, authentic future over a perfect, solitary lie.
