100% worth a read.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly when I borrowed it from my local library.(I bought the full series after reading.)What's not to like about fighting against what goes bump in the night. Hill knows how to write a book that you can not put down right up to the cliffhanger ending. The only thing you should do is give this book a go and see if it fits you.

Fantastic read for any mature audience

If you're okay with gore and violence then this is the book for you. Hill does a fantastic job intertwining an overarching story with the personal development of characters in a way that feels real. The throwbacks to classics like Dracula and Frankenstein are done very well, and seeing into the head of Professor Abraham Van Helsing is a welcome addition. It leaves you wanting for more.
