As an agent of Pangaea, Leah Fox is called to Massachusetts, of the Free States. She is to do a simple test on Miss Lizzie Borden. Lizzie claims that she saw a Demon kill her parents. Lizzie comes from Gifted parents. Yet, her and her sister Emma have never been tested. It is not Leah's job to investigate the murders. She is only there to find out if Lizzie is a Supradotaţi. Supradotaţi are gifted people that use magical science. It was only supposed to be an in and out job. However, this easy assignment takes her and her team to New Orleans. A string of horrific murders, all similar to the Borden's are happening in The Big Easy. It is here, her agency meets up with the devilishly handsome, Camrin Holmes and his team. These murders are perplexing for both agencies. They have to work together to keep others from dying. The detectives are trying to make sense of the puzzle, when the Demon demands the entire city to play jazz music to have one-night free of death. Mister Holmes will stand and fight with Leah, as they realize it is her past that is the missing link to these crimes.
