He heard the sound once more before he stepped into the lab, yet everything was quite dark. He wanted to run back out, while something inside of him would not allow it."Hello," he muttered softly, yet as he glanced around, it seemed that no one else was there. Then he heard it again, yet the thumps had grown softer, and when he looked up to the sound, his jaw dropped. It was Viper, and she was awake inside of her tube, staring right back at him.He could see the glint of light off of her pale green eyes, and her expression was that of confusion mixed with fear. He knew that he should tell someone, yet as she pressed her hands against the glass, he could feel her pain.He found her trying to tell him something in sign language. The only problem there was that he did not know sign language."I don't understand," he told her as he placed his lab coat on one of the tables, before setting his laptop next to it.Despite the fact that she had a feeding tube down her throat, and a mask for oxygen, he could see her gently smile. What she did next, however, was also confusing.Reaching forward with her index finger, she began to tap a message in morse code, lightly upon the glass."I don't know morse code, either," he nearly shouted in frustration, before turning to pace the room, in search of a solution. He could almost feel her elation before turning, and she softly began to write letters on the inside of the glass. Her message, however, was complicated.P-L-E-A-S-E-H-E-L-P-M-E, she wrote, and a look of terror overcame her.
