This is my story of becoming a caregiver to my brother Jack. Jack was diagnosed with dementia at the age of 66 in the year 2010. I became his caregiver two years later. Jack was the one brother I loved and shared my childhood memories with. My family and I had a long and terrifying journey with constant police chases, invisible friends, frustrating lawyers, and many tears. Reality is sometimes crazier than fiction.
