Nothing ever seems to be normal in David's life. If he isn't struggling with the problem of his lingering attraction to his ex-wife, Vivian, he's battling dimensional monsters who are trying to take over the city. But then, to add to his problems, his child ward, Simone, mysteriously disappears and, when she's found, she has no idea of what happened to her.
