There are certain milestones in life that most women dread reaching, many in reference to aging. For Dawn Landry, approaching 40 is only a dooming sign because of pressure from her mother, Judith. With one child who ran away at 18 and another child who moved across the country, Judith feels like Dawn is her last hope at having God-fearing grandchildren. Dawn feels like she has a well put together life so far, despite her mother's constant nagging: she's a registered nurse (RN) and works at a small Nursing Home, "Sunny Days Ahead". She has been working at the nursing home for 15 years now, where she started as an intern in college and worked her way up to the Director of Nursing. Her life has proven to be very predictable and tedious since she was a young girl, but she finds out that not every event in life can be anticipated. Delivering Daisies explores the ideas of love, death, relationships, religion, gender roles, and many more relatable issues as Dawn struggles through life as a 37 year old single woman.
