The firm is holding illegal securities for their customers, the same type that caused the financial industry meltdown of '07 and '08. He goes to the same boss with his evidence and shortly thereafter, Maddy Rivers is framed for Rob's murder.The suspects are numerous including an embittered ex-cop, a Mexican drug cartel and a professional hitman hired by CAR Securities. And on top of that Rob Judd has a secret past himself which has the local U.S. Attorney and FBI investigating CAR Securities and keeping evidence from Marc that could exonerate Maddy. Once again, Carstens has come up with a story with many twists and turns and a murder mystery / legal drama that will keep you guessing, engrossed and anxious to find out how it all ends.
