Defy - Resist - Elude

By L.A. Grabins

"Everyone wants to survive, no matter what. It's a basic human desire. There's a need that comes out from within that tells your mind, "You can't give up. You have to keep going." However, that need can only be as strong as the goal and the person who is striving to reach that end.

The story that is about to imparted upon these fortunate readers concerns the telling of three lives that became interwind beyond repair during the years of one of the worst wars in history. They couldn't have foreseen the coming storm they were heading into, nor how they would soon all be connected so deeply. It is a story of trust and betrayal, of heartbreak and love, of lies and deceptions, and of course, death."

Defy - Resist - Elude is the historical fiction drama, a complete compilation of the mini-novellas in the series, taking place in World War II Paris, France. They follow the lives of three fated persons - Annabelle, Dimitri, and Albrecht - in their fight for freedom and the fine line of deception they walk. A mix of romance and espionage makes this tale a roller coaster of emotions.

Written in Vignette style, the compilation includes dialogue written in French and German; translations included.
