The entire Sookie Stackhouse is the best.

I once owned 24 of the sookie books. I'm sad to say I don't have them anymore. I can say happily that I will be getting them back. I am glad that I have found out that there r 42 books in the series. I will be owning every one. Best series I have ever read.

I get lost into this world whenever I’m reading a book from this series

I just want to start by saying that I’m ha huge fan of vampires and vampire stories, so this one to me is one of my favorites. This series has so many on edge moments, and page turning adventures and erotic moments. No wonder there are so many books to the series! I definitely recommend!

A fun silly little series

The Stookie Stackhouse books have some noticable differences from the TV series but has merits all its own. Different from what we consider the average vampire series in the sense you really do learn about the outside world (though it could probably be expanded upon), and because of that we really see what vampires integrating into the human world would look like in a little southern town, and how it's transforming the whole world Fans of the HBO show will recognize their favorite characters, though not always to the same extent, Sookie herself is described differently than what's portrayed on the show, for her personality think of those 'sassy' Sookie moments happening a little more regularly, but in a way that isn't off putting to readers. Sookie Is a full rounded human, not a boring passive girl along for the ride, you learn about her thoughts and feelings, and get to know her, even if she's frustrating there's affection there Worth the purchase if you want something silly and fun.

Libro excelente!!! La trama te atrapa desde la primera linea

El libro es excelente y hasta donde he leido quienes elaboraron la serie de HBO guardaron mucho la fidelidad con lo descrito acá. Estaba leyendo El Simbolo Perdido de Dan Brown cuando este libro me llego, lei el libro de de Harris solo para ojearlo, pues no suelo dejar un libro a medias y empezar otro o leer varios a la vez, y luego de leer la primera hoja dejé el de Dan Brown de lado y no puedo soltar este. Muy bueno, la narracion es clara, muy descriptivo con los personajes y los paisajes, te atrapa. Increible... una forma diferente de describir a los vampiros, sus hábitos y formas de vida. Si lo compran no se van a arrepentir, la letra es grande y comoda para leer, además que el libro tiene buen tamaño para llevarlo donde uno quiera y es ligero de peso. Se los aseguro desde la primera linea los atrapara y Sookie se ganará toda su atención. Excelente compra...

A much better than average vampire mystery novel

Sookie Stackhouse lives in a world like ours - except for one difference, 4 years ago Vampires "came out of the coffin" and are now a legal part of USA society. In this way it's somewhat like the situation in the Anita Blake (author Laurel Hamilton) novels, but in someways I think better written in this book.Sookie herself is unusual with a disability that makes dating a virtual impossiblity until a vampire comes to town and she discovers he's her (almost) perfect man. Unfortunatley, at the same time people start getting killed, which most of the locals see as an unlikely co-incidence, and in a small town that can almost be deadly itself.The author has written a very readable book here. I'm not sure if it's the start of a series or not - if it's not - then it's still an enjoyable stand alone novel. Her characters are believable and likeable, and I don't remember any slow patches that make your attention wander. In fact, I read this in a day - the sign of a very good book for me.For those people who like fiction that covers, vampires, PSI, alternative realities or mystery fiction, this book pretty well covers all those areas.
