Riveting account of an era

Deep Cover, Shallow Graves describes an era in such depth that even those of us who lived through that time will learn much that was hidden. The book is a balanced account that describes the big picture of events while drawing us in through the vividly described experiences of a relatable character, namely Mr. Plumlee. We learn as he learns. We experience as he experiences. Although I primarily read novels, this is one non-fiction that I thoroughly enjoyed. In fact, reading the book was a thrilling experience.
