Blue and White Chic

Beautiful book filled with my favorite color combination--blue and white. Love the English country theme on some pages. Although lovely, I find Carolyne Roehm's style too fancy for my taste. I am more into English country and Shabby Chic. This book is just right, the colors and themes are restful.

More of a Shabby Chic/English Country approach

I felt the other review was a little unfair. I found this book to be very inspiring, and the mix of interiors and exteriors from Morocco, South Africa, and the UK to be an interesting and varied mix. Its more of a Shabby Chic or English Country approach than "A Passion For Blue and White", but nevertheless very beautiful. I completely disagree with the comments about the photos - they were crisp, fresh, detailed and often stunningly beautiful. This is NOT an in-depth guide to the details of interior decoration - its more of a book to day dream over; to linger over with a cup of tea. I actually broke out my sketch pad to copy details of some of the kitchen cupboards, so it can't be THAT awful :))
