Decoding Delusions is Invaluable Tool

This book outlines a variety of strategies for helping clients work through fears and unusual beliefs. While clinical in nature, the book aims to be respectful and hopeful to those with lived experience, even featuring a chapter written by Shaun Hunt of the National Paranoia Network in Great Britain about his experiences with successfully navigating paranoia. Each chapter has left me inspired and curious about my client's inner lives as well as my own. I delayed buying this because it seemed expensive, however, it has been well worth the money spent. It even includes links to about a dozen videos showing the strategies highlighted in the book. The book mostly focuses on CBT techniques, but shows how these can be integrated with other approaches such as psychodynamic therapy.
