The characters experience some of the many forms of deceptions or deliberate lies told by a diversity of people. While we are learning about these people, a serial killer is at large, killing members of the psychiatrist's old college roommate fraternity. Can it be someone the psychiatrist knows or one of his patients? How can we find the truth? Is it a novel or a memoir?
