Monique is a teenage girl that has been an orphan her whole life after losing her parents to an accident. She finally get adopted to the family that only fantasies describe. Her life seems to be headed in the right direction for once, and she's ready to start new beginnings. She makes new friends at her new school where she fits in perfectly, but little does she know her parents aren't who they claim to be. Dealing with taking medication, anxiety, and seeing visions of her past she tries to find truth, peace, and healing. But can she really trust those who say they love her or she's being deceived?

My name is Denzell Hawkins I'm 36 and I come from Suffolk Virginia. Writing has been my whole entire life. My Lord and savior Jesus Christ gave me the gift before I knew who I was. I started writing funny stories as a kid but I only shared with close friends. By the age of nine I started writing music and been doing so since then. One day I decided to really flex my creative muscle and really pushed for something I never saw myself doing. Not only am I a writer, but I also do videography and photography.
