The aim of this book is to provide new evidence on public debt sustainability in Nigeria, and analyze the fiscal actions of the Nigerian government, whether they have been prudent or not after the debt relief was granted in 2005. The study contributes to the vast amount of literature by accounting for the role of structural breaks in the series. In addition, the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) fiscal reaction function, and the Unit Root and Co-integration techniques are employed to examine the sustainability level of public debt in Nigeria, following the accounting and econometrics framework for Public Debt analysis.
