Joe Davis, humor blogger and inconsequential celebrity, returns to his hometown of Porter's Bay to celebrate his father's retirement. His father, a longtime business owner and pillar of the community, is being honored with a week's worth of celebrations. However, not everyone is sharing the love. One of his father's old business partners threatens to expose an old secret. When the former partner turns up dead, evidence points to Joe's father. Talk about putting a damper on things.
