Digger's Cove is a nice quiet town. So far off the beaten path it rarely appears on any maps. It is a town stuck in the past. Most people don't like change. Which explains why the houses are well kept, handed from generation to generation. It is the same with all the cars. There is rarely any trouble there. There was the murders last year but their sheriff got that all sorted. Sheriff Abby Anderson's biggest problem has been a rash of petty crimes. An expensive bike and award winning apple pies. After getting that solved. Abby expects to sit back and relax. The one of the nicest guys in town gets himself killed. It looks like he got clubbed to death a baseball bat. A baseball bat signed by Babe Ruth no less. Once again the state police dump the murder on Abby. The reluctant sheriff finds herself dealing with some of the town's oddball along with pop stars, paparazzi, a vertical lift craft and she is up for re-election. She is going to need more than coffee to solve this murder.
