Good Victorian Cultural and Historical Info in the Home Setting

We bought this book out of curiosity. I have always been interested in what the victorians were up to in their houses and what certain pieces of furniture were used for. This book answered many questions. Today's world doesn't need many of the pieces they used in the home. Even though they are now considered antiques, the pieces take up valuable space and no longer serve the original purposes.
