Brutally meticulous, broad and unsparing, Lavigne describes and condemns the drug trade in this hemisphere.He gives a background on all the major enablers to date, including Fidel Castro and the US government. He exposes how drug traffickers based in Canada and the US cry "racism" in order to avoid justice. Lavigne also devotes an entire chapter to the hell in which addicts and everyone around them live--a POWERFUL incentive to avoid getting involved with drugs! Another chapter details the illicit trade in prescription drugs, a largely uninvestigated aspect of the problem. At the end, Lavigne delivers a comprehensive and compelling indictment of the drug-legalisation movement.Yves Lavigne is Canada's bravest writer. His perseverance led to at least two attempts on his life.
