Death by Pumpkin Spice

By: Patti Petrone Miller

When a handsome documentary filmmaker turns up dead in a pumpkin at Pumpkin Hollow's biggest autumn festival, Tessa Greenwood-owner of The Lantern Cup coffee shop-becomes the town's most suspicious suspect. But the murder isn't just a small-town mystery. It's a warning.

Pumpkin Hollow, Vermont, has hidden something for generations. Beneath the charming Halloween decorations, cozy caf s, and festival cheer lies a darker secret: the town's founding families once practiced magic, and someone is trying to resurrect it.

As Tessa investigates Milo Creed's death, she uncovers stolen heirlooms, forbidden herbs that shouldn't exist, and a conspiracy rooted in family pride and forgotten power. Her best friend Lorna is framed. The town is fracturing. And the magical ward protecting Pumpkin Hollow from paranormal chaos is destabilizing.

With her grandmother's cryptic guidance, a suspicious police detective, and a black cat who seems to know more than he should, Tessa must stop the killer before the ritual opens something that should have stayed sealed-and before autumn's magic consumes the town she loves.

In Pumpkin Hollow, everyone has secrets. Some of them are dangerous.

Perfect for fans of paranormal cozies with small-town mystery, magical heritage, and a touch of seasonal romance.
