Here's what I learned in Grade 6.Keeping friends is a lot harder than making friends.Nobody tells you that.Angela's off doing hockey. Jessie's a popular girl now - drama, and girls who flip their hair and wear lipstick and eyeliner. Lianne is... well. Floating like cupcake sunshine that belongs to everyone. And Molly, who was always there, now...I don't even want to talk about it.Also there's this new boy. His name is Wolfgang. He's from Germany. And he's at the MDU table. Like, everything is just changing. We don't need change. What we need is the MDU. Like before, when everything was perfect and everyone woke up in the morning and looked outside and said, oh, another perfect day, and nothing bad ever happened.Obviously I know that's not actually true. But that's why you have friends. That's why you have the MDU table.Anyway. The point is: we're in Grade 6 now, and things at cole Morden Middle School are like some kind of wind going in all directions instead of a nice table where everyone sits down. What we need is a plan. A brilliant plan. A 100% guaranteed friendship-saving plan.Someone has to save the MDU.P.S. Also, I got a horse. Bean arrived. He's awesome. But I'll tell you more about that later.
