Dear Kobe is a letter from a seventy-something former Cambodian army spy and Khmer Rouge survivor to his little boy, the child of his old age. In the letter, he tells a story that seven-year-old Kobe is still too young to comprehend. It is a story drenched in the blood of some two million victims of Pol Pot and his murderous Khmer Rouge. It is a story of survival and escape from the unimaginable horrors of the 1975-1979 genocide.
