Beautiful, Wonderful

Oh, what a perfect book for my 7 yr old granddaughter. Pictures and print are perfect. We love it.

A great gift book

This is a very sweet book that makes a great gift. It is filled with many touching prayers you can share with your children...you may even remember a few from your own childhood. The last page contains a pocket with a page where your child can write their personal prayer. My daughter loved this book when she was younger because of the different pockets that contained prayers we could remove and read together. As she has grown and her understanding of God has grown, she still loves the book and has grown to appreciate all of the different prayers. This is great for both boys and girls.

A Lovely Little Book...

Dear God is s book that reads like little prayers children have to God. Little envelopes embedded within the pages allow the kids to take out letters while they read (or have read) these prayers. It's certainly very nice, a lovely little book.... aimed at younger children. If there was 3 1/2 stars I would more likely have rated it a little lower than I did as it is not liely to have the kids demanding.... read it again, read it again! Notwithstanding, I was pleased that the kids had the opportunity to have it read to them. Marcus

Child-friendly spirituality with beautiful illustrations

There is something so charming about this book! It is a perfect tool to use to share God with children in an easy-to-understand way. The illustrations are inviting and sweet. The attached envelopes and note cards with letters of thanks to God allow for your child's interaction. It's filled with the right amount of poetry and bible verses to make for lovely bedtime reading. Pleasant dreams are sure to follow.

My Four Year Old Son LOVES It!

When I first saw this book, I wondered if my four year old boy would like it. The drawings looked so delicate and I thought it might not grab his attention. "Perhaps I should just buy it for my niece?" I wondered. But I just loved it, so I went ahead and gave it to him as a Christmas present. He was thrilled with it! It became one of his favorite books, getting me to read it to him over and over, every night. The greatest part of the book is the space for your child to write his own prayer for the pocket on the last page. Jackson dictacted a sweet, honest little prayer - totally Jackson style - and I am so excited that we now have a permanent record of his soul at the tender age of four. Now I am going to buy one for my niece as well. Don't miss this book. Not only is it a sweet bedtime read with your little ones, but it is a great tool to help your child(ren) learn how to talk to God comfortably and naturally.
